April snowstorm

Rain on the 3rd of April turned to heavy snow by evening and carried on all night.
At least 35mm of precipitation was recorded as it melted, this suggests almost 40cm of snow fell in the space of 12 hours.
New born lambs outside had little chance though as usual anything more than a couple of days proved amazingly robust.

The power went off about 11:30pm on the 3rd, and is still off (5th April)
There is a lot of work to do so it seems likely it will be at least two more days before everyone is back on the grid.

Blazing warm sunshine on the 5th made it feel like being at some Alpine ski resort!
