Swallows!

No pictures but swallows were seen mid-afternoon and again this evening so probably they have truly 'arrived' rather than just passing through on a shortcut.
After the endless bitter east winds this is rather a shock as the usual time to first see them is around the last week of April.

The sudden transition to rather warm and bright has been remarkable and very welcome.
Grass is already responding well and changing from that sickly yellow to vibrant green.
The daffodils are rushing to catch up but I thought looked rather floppy and were not liking the strong and gusty wind.
