Google Streetview

Google have recently increase the area covered by high resolution streetview images.
It looks like they covered this area in February 2009 while the snowdrops were out.
The images below are computer screen captures from it.







To use streetview zoom in on google maps here:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps

When you get close enough to clearly make out roads, drag the little yellow man onto the place you want to view.
You can travel backwards and forwards, rotating the compass dial allows you to look at the roadsides too.

Did anyone see the car going through?
This image on Lead Lane gives an idea what it looked like because you can see the shadow!
